Burlesque is a style of live entertainment that embodies pastiche, parody and wit. The genre traditionally encompasses a variety of acts such as dancing girls, chanson singers, comedians, mime artists and striptease artists, most with some form of satire and a saucy edge....
Burlesque FreakOut is all about exploring the borders and meaning of 'Burlesque and will also bring you acts with a new mix of all the performance styles mentioned above, in effect bringing Burlesque into the 21st century.

Burlesque Freakout is a spin-off from the Tease-á-GoGo show/party which in 2007 introduced the first complete Burlesque-night-out in the Netherlands. It was produced by famous manager Koos van Dijk, Coco Jane and 'the Amsterdam BeatClub boys': Charley Rhythm and Ir. Vendermeulen, who already in 2003 brought some Burlesque to the stages and on the VJ screens.
